In the metalworking industry, nitrogen — owing to its inert properties — is widely employed across a range of processing operations to ensure product quality and enhance production efficiency. Nitrogen not only prevents metal oxidation and corrosion but also improves process outcomes in several critical applications. During heat treatment, elevated temperatures can cause many products to oxidize. To address this, an oxygen-free environment must be established by introducing inert nitrogen gas into the heat treatment furnace, thereby preventing oxidation and discoloration of the workpieces.
